Do you have the heart of a Girl Scout? If you do, chances are you will enjoy
Evergreen, Girl Scouts - Fox Valley Council’s alumnae group. There are many,
wonderful opportunities for involvement in the months ahead.

Explore Camp Dean on May 26 and 30, July 10 and 14, and September 16 and 19.
Walks are scheduled at Camp Dean beginning at 10:00 AM. See Camp Dean as well as
the prairie and wetland restorations during three different seasons. Each season
promises its own special look and feel and an opportunity to explore the
environmental enhancements. Bring a sack lunch and a drink. RSVP by May 21 to

Join a group that is traveling to Washington D.C. for the 95th Anniversary
Sing-Along, which will be held on June 9. Not up for singing? Join the group for
a tour-along. There are 3 or 4 day options, with travel June 7 or 8 and
returning June 10. The cost is $400 to $600 and includes coach bus, food,
housing, and the Sing-Along. The registration deadline is April 2. Please

Join us for a Starbucks get together on June 30, where you will hear more about
their menu, socialize over coffee, and see if you can identify any of the
mystery people in council archives photos at the Starbucks on Orchard Road in

Help us cheer on the Kane County Cougars at Philip B. Elfstrom Stadium in Geneva
on July 29. This event is $10 per person. Please contact Jerre Henriksen, by

Try your hand at Bunko and then enjoy tasty treats from the chocolate fountain
at Betty’s Bunko Night on August 19 at the Girl Scout Service Center in Geneva.
