ALL: It stands for the best, and it was chosen because it is the color of the sky that is above all Girl Scouts.

 
  1. This is the GOLDEN TREFOIL that is found on every country’s pin.

    2. ALL: It stands for the Three Parts of the Promise:

    On my honor, I will try

    To serve God and my country;

    To help people at all times,

    And to live by the Girl Scout Law.

     
  2. This VEIN is a compass needle.

    3. ALL: It will always give the right course or way in Girl Scouting and Girl Guiding.

     
  3. This STAR stands for the Promise.

    4. ALL: The Promise that is taken by every Girl Scout.

     
  4. This STAR stands for the Girl Scout Law.

    5. ALL: The Spirit of the Law that is the same in all countries.

     
  5. This is the BASE of the Trefoil.

ALL: It represents the flame of the love of all peoples. It will always burn high, brightly, and intensely, in the hearts of all Girl Guides and Girl Scouts.

 

7. The WORLD PIN may be worn by Girl Scouts after they have taken their three-part Promise and are invested.

ALL: It is the WORLD ASSOCIATION symbol.
